We literally camp in the Redwoods and figuratively next to the Jordan River with Kelly. Taking her text from Joshua 3, she walked us through how to best live life in the unsettled. Drawing on her own personal experiences, the travails of the Israelities and their 40 year wandering through the desert, and adding in her distinctive way of bringing humor to the heavy, insight to the muddy, and wisdom to the difficult, she led us through the three W’s: Wait, Watch & Worship. What a blessing you are to all of us. I’m so thankful for your willingness to share your story at our Rock Bible Women’s Retreat. I walked away with so many things to ponder. I will never go to a retreat again without my “real Bible”. You have encouraged me to really make scripture memorization a priority and I can’t wait to see Him use that as I “meet with women at the fence”. I think that picture is my favorite.
